Praying Mantis are N.W.O.B.H.M. veterans whose sound blends the heavy guitars of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal with melody, harmonic vocals, and classic hard rock influences; their 1981 debut album is considered one of the genre's foundational pillars, and despite years of setbacks with contracts, managers, and record labels, the band has built an almost cult status in British heavy metal. Supporting them is Mickey Lyxx, a young artist from the contemporary power and heavy metal scene who has performed in over 25 countries and at festivals including Wacken Open Air and Alcatraz Metal Festival, blending melodic and power metal with neoclassical guitar influences. The show is billed as a rare opportunity to meet one of the living legends of one of the most beloved musical styles.
