My... in Iran

"My... in Iran" is a multimedia presentation by Anabel Moghadam, a visual artist and photographer who graduated from NBU's Photography programme in 2025. She describes it as "a visual journey in search of and exploration of personal roots in Iran," combining photography, personal narratives and observations on belonging, cultural identity, memory and self-discovery. The presentation includes her photo book, video material made during the project, and an interactive installation element; part of the work was previously shown at Goethe-Institut Sofia as part of "Reframing Family: Feminist Perspectives Through the Lens." The artist shares her own story, presents her photo book and opens a conversation with the audience about identity, belonging and cross-cultural encounter.
