Twelve Angry Men

"12 Angry Men" stages Reginald Rose's play of the same name, hailed as one of America's national treasures. Twelve jurors are shut in a small, stifling room to decide the fate of an 18-year-old boy accused of premeditated murder — all but one are convinced he's guilty. Their verdict will determine whether he spends the rest of his life in prison, and as the tension mounts, it exposes each juror's own prejudices and past. In his staging, Prof. Plamen Markov breaks from the familiar all-male jury by introducing female roles as well.
