Roots of Madness

Legendary German journalist Ulrich Tilgner has spent decades covering the Middle East, driven by his interest in people and hope for positive social change. The film travels with him to Afghanistan, Iraq, Rojava in Syria and Niger to examine the fallout of Western wars and interventions.
