Azis (Vasil Troyanov Boyanov) is widely recognized as the King of Bulgarian chalga and one of the country's most influential pop-folk performers. He rose to fame with his signature sound, blending chalga energy with a strong voice, bold style and an unforgettable stage presence. Beyond Bulgaria, he has expanded his reach across the Balkans through collaborations and duets with Serbian stars such as Indira Radic, Marta Savic and Jelena Karleusa. In 2006 he appeared at Eurovision, performing "Let Me Cry" together with Mariana Popova.
