ASO: Teodor Dimitrov and Mina Georgieva

A concert by the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National Music Academy "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov." Conducting is Teodor Dimitrov, a third-year student of opera-symphonic conducting under Prof. Dr. Grigor Palikarov and musicology under Prof. Dr. Ilia Grammatikov, who completed his secondary music education in flute at the "Prof. Veselin Stoyanov" National School of Arts in Ruse — this concert marks his debut as a conductor. The viola soloist is Mina Georgieva, born in 2004 in Sofia, who graduated from the "Lyubomir Pipkov" National Music School in 2023 and is now a fourth-year viola student under Prof. Dr. Ognyan Konstantinov; she specialized on an Erasmus program in Vienna (2025) and has been a soloist-orchestral musician with Bulgarian National Radio since February 2026, while also performing with the New Symphony Orchestra and in chamber ensembles. The program includes Mozart's Overture to "Don Giovanni," Weber's "Andante and Rondo ungarese" for viola and orchestra, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 36. The concertmaster is Georgi Palikarski.
