Family Council

One family has invented its own unusual form of democracy at home: the Solé-Ametllé family elects a chairperson for a four-year term, follows strict rules at its meetings and every vote, and runs its own system for sharing out responsibilities. But how far can such a government go — could the weekly dishwashing rota become a grand problem, or a pancake recipe ignite debates like political shoot-outs in the corridors of power? And when do the grown children rise in revolt in the name of greater sincerity and justice — perhaps when love comes knocking? A comedy by Cristina Clemente directed by Neva Micheva, starring Georgi Spasov, Anastasia Ingilizova, Nikola Stoyanov, Hristina Dzhurova and Vassil Duev-Taig. The play receives its first staging in Bulgaria; running time 100 minutes.
