Love After the Storm

A baroque vocal programme from the Baroque Art Festival, presenting 17th–18th century French cantatas by Charpentier, Clérambault, Mondonville and Rameau. Three soloists — soprano, mezzo-soprano and countertenor — bring mythological and allegorical characters such as Cupid, Conscience, Lucretia and Orpheus to life, accompanied by the period-instrument ensemble Sarabande.
