A concert by the Art&Shock String Quartet (joined by young violinists and a violist for separate duets), presenting Béla Bartók's string quartets through the lens of gothic culture — music that has featured in landmark horror, drama and gothic films since the 1970s (such as Kubrick's "The Shining"). This performance marks the first time within the BARTÓK GOTHIC project — now in its third year of reframing Bartók for new audiences — that String Quartets No. 2 and No. 3 are presented live.
