Velika

Velika is a witty, daring and gloriously indecent theatrical whirlwind inspired by Tony McNamara's series The Great. The production portrays Catherine the Great as an intelligent, ambitious woman confronting a brutal world of male power, intrigue and stupidity. Director Stayko Murdjev turns the stage into an arena where love, politics and biting historical satire collide — one of the most talked-about theatre productions of the year, winner of the "Golden Kukeriko" award for best comedy.
