Echoes of Balkana: E-AN-NA, KHANЪ, TICKLE THE SAGE

Three folk metal acts share one stage for an evening where folklore, metal and psychedelic rock intertwine into a single musical experience. Romania's E-AN-NA, winner of the Wacken Metal Battle Romania (2017) and the most-streamed Romanian metal band on Spotify, play in Bulgaria for the first time. Bulgarian folk metal outfit KHANЪ blends heavy metal with traditional instruments such as bagpipes, tambura and kaval, while the ethno-psychedelic act TICKLE THE SAGE offers mystical vocals and a sound inspired by surf, desert and space rock combined with Balkan folklore.
