Forefathers – new album by Trifon Dimitrov

Trifon Dimitrov has been one of the most sought-after and active bassists on the Bulgarian music scene for over two decades, and has lived and worked in New York for years. He returns home to present his new album "Forefathers", dedicated to jazz bassists who created and developed the jazz-bass style — not only instrumentalists but also composers and bandleaders with their own distinctive voice. The album features a duet with jazz legend Ron Carter. For the Sofia Live Club show, Dimitrov invites Angel Zaberski and Stoyan Yankulov – Stundzhi to join him on stage.
