"Sisters-in-law" (Етърви) is a comedy by the acclaimed French playwright Eric Assous, staged on the Main Stage of the Satirical Theatre by director Vladimir Lyutskanov. Known for its biting, perceptive humor delivered with intelligent irony and witty, rapid-fire dialogue, the play follows the relationships between three married couples within one family — ordinary people susceptible to temptation, tragicomic in trying to defend their own weaknesses, caught up in jealousy, rivalry, small betrayals and awkward compromises with their conscience.
