About the venue
The Iskar House of Culture is a municipal cultural institution in Sofia's Druzhba district, built in 1953. It is one of the oldest houses of culture in Sofia, originally operating as a trade-union cultural centre before becoming municipal property in 2001. The building holds a concert hall seating about 400, halls for ballet and folklore, a chamber hall, and a library with over 15,000 volumes.
