About the venue
The Palace is the first building to house the National Art Gallery — the former Royal Palace, built after the Liberation (opened 1882) to a design by Viennese architect Viktor Rumpelmayer. Its halls today host temporary exhibitions of Bulgarian and international art.
How to get there
Located on Knyaz Alexander I Square in central Sofia, next to the City Garden and the National Theatre; nearby are tram and bus stops on Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd and 6th September St.
