About the venue
The Assen Vassilev Gallery is an art gallery at 48 Solunska Street in central Sofia, opened in 1992 in the former studio of professor Assen Vassilev by his son Slavyan Vassilev. It exhibits paintings and sculpture by Bulgarian artists and is part of the "Posoka Samuil" initiative uniting galleries in this part of the city centre. It is open Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays.
How to get there
The gallery is at 48 Solunska Street, in the pedestrian part of central Sofia, near Vitosha Boulevard. The nearest metro station is Serdika, about a 9-minute walk away.
