About the venue
Alexander Nevsky Square is a large open public space in central Sofia, located in front of the cathedral of the same name — one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. Besides being a major tourist draw, the square traditionally hosts an open-air market for antiques, paintings and souvenirs, and on bigger occasions (national holidays, open-air concerts, public gatherings) it turns into a venue for large-scale events.
How to get there
The nearest metro station is 'Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski' (Line M1), about a 5–10 minute walk from the square. Tram and bus lines also run along nearby Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd and adjacent boulevards.
