About the venue
Sofia City Art Gallery is a municipal art institution in central Sofia, located at 1 Gen. Yosif V. Gurko Street. It holds a collection of Bulgarian fine art — painting, sculpture, graphic art and photography — spanning from the late 19th century to the present, and also hosts temporary contemporary art exhibitions.
How to get there
The gallery is in central Sofia at 1 Gen. Yosif V. Gurko Street (entrance from Knyaz Al. Battenberg Street). A trolleybus stop named 'Ul. Gen. Gurko' right outside the building is served by trolleybus lines 1, 2, 5, 6 and 8. Buses 84 and 184 stop nearby at the 'General Gurko' terminus, which connects to metro lines M3 (Orlov Most) and M4 (Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski').
