About the venue
Vasil Levski National Stadium is Bulgaria's main sports arena, located in Borisova Gradina park in central Sofia. It opened in 1953 and underwent a major reconstruction between 1998 and 2002 to its current capacity of over 43,000 seats. It hosts national football team matches, Bulgarian Cup finals, and other large sporting and public events.
How to get there
The stadium is in Borisova Gradina park, near Evlogi i Hristo Georgievi Blvd. The nearest metro station is Natsionalen Stadion Vasil Levski (line M4), with an exit directly at the stadium; many bus and trolleybus lines also stop on Evlogi i Hristo Georgievi Blvd.
