About an Electrical Phenomenon

"On a Phenomenon of Electricity" is a production based on the stories and novellas of Anton Chekhov, with text by Prof. Lyudmil Dimitrov and directed by Stiliyan Petrov. A garden, a wedding, a suicide, a monk, a hallucinating intellectual, a former actress — images and motifs from a nonexistent, yet entirely authentic, Chekhov play, unfolded as a one-act drama about life. The show speaks of passion without reciprocity, closeness that never becomes love, and solitude as both a burden and an advantage.
