Quartet for Two

Quartet for Two offers a sharp, witty cross-section of human relationships and the variations of love. The story begins with a married couple who have endured each other for 25 years, then grows into a trio when the husband brings his mistress home, and finally into a foursome with the arrival of the wife's lover. What starts as comedy around an affair moves through clever, retaliatory humor to a tragicomic finale in which everyone becomes trapped by their own circumstances, exposing a deeper need for desire, inspiration and to feel loved.
