Always a Bridesmaid

A comedy by Jesse Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten, translated by Dimitar Stratev and directed by Vladimir Lyutskanov. Four friends make a pact at their high school graduation to be each other's bridesmaids no matter what life brings — and thirty years later they keep that promise through multiple marriages, separations, and personal hardships. The director describes the show as a "happy play" about friendship and about how far one is willing to go to keep a promise to a friend.
