Theatre of the 20th Century

The NBU University Theatre presents an original devised production by acting students (class of 2024), built on texts by and about the great figures of 20th-century theatrical avant-garde — Stanislavski, Meyerhold, Brecht, Artaud, Piscator, Craig, Chekhov, Grotowski and Strasberg. Created through a devising process — a collaborative effort of the whole team — the show has an educational character, introducing audiences to the figures and ideas that shaped the theatre of the past century. Costumes were created by fashion design students.
