Little England

"Little England" is a production by the Ivan Vazov National Theatre based on the novel of the same name by Greek writer Ioanna Karystiani, directed and adapted for the stage by Diana Dobreva, with dramatization by Alexander Sekulov. The production is the novel's world stage premiere; the book won Greece's National Literature Award in 1998. Set in Greece between the two World Wars, it tells the story of two men on one island, of two sisters sharing a house and a secret, and above all of the fierce courage not to let death separate you from the one you loved.
