Romeo and Juliet – A Sonnet for Immortal Love

"Romeo and Juliet — A Sonnet for Immortal Love" is a production by Theatre Laboratory "Alma Alter," directed by Nikolay Georgiev — described as the father of the Bulgarian avant-garde — with choreography by Petya Yosifova-Hunkins. Drawing on the text of William Shakespeare, the production is contemporary and unflinching, exploring the eternal theme of love beyond the boundaries of time, body and social morality.
