Sisters-in-Law

"Sisters-in-Law" is a comedy by Eric Assous, translated by Valentina Boyadzhieva and directed by Vladimir Lyutskanov, starring Iva Todorova, Nikolay Lukanov, Toni Minasyan, Elena Atanasova, Anna Stancheva, Lyubomir Kovachev and Stefania Kocheva. The play follows two pairs of brothers and their wives as their relationships move through jealousy, rivalry and the everyday erosion of feelings, told through witty, rapid-fire dialogue and what the director calls "intelligent irony." The director frames the characters as ordinary people susceptible to temptation, and the comedy keeps up dramatic tension and plot twists through to the end.
