Playback Theatre

Playback Theatre is a production of the NBU University Theatre, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Antoaneta Petrova and performed by students of the Theatre department. Playback is a spontaneously created improvisational dialogue between audience and actors — a mirror of the spectators' experiences. A narrator publicly shares a personal story about real people and events, and the actors, risking an honest dialogue, creatively recreate it, giving shape to the answers the narrator is unconsciously seeking within themselves.
