Airport

"Airport" is a NATFIZ production of the play "Fireflies" by Croatian playwright Tena Štaviček, translated by Rusanka Lyapova and directed by Maksima Boeva, performed by students from Prof. Zdravko Mitkov's class. The action unfolds at an airport — a space where travelers rush toward different destinations — but for a moment time stops, letting strangers recognize their shared humanity. The show weaves together the stories of several seemingly random passengers whose lives intersect in a timeless moment between departure and arrival, opening up possibilities for reconciliation, forgiveness and unexpected new directions.
