With the Scent of Blue Plums

A dance production from NATFIZ (the national theatre and film academy), choreographed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alexander Mandzhyukov and performed by fourth-year students of the "Theatre of Movement – Dance Theatre" program. The piece explores human nature and the longing for unattainable beauty, following a man consumed by the desire to turn beauty into eternity. It touches on solitude, a yearning for the divine, and the dangerous illusion that beauty can be captured, preserved and possessed.
