Oh, Whoever You Are...

"Oh, Whoever You Are..." is a lyrical collage about love built from the poems, letters and memories of Ivan Vazov, created by Mirela Ivanova. First conceived as a recital of Vazov's love poems at the idea of actress Paraskeva Dzhukelova, the performance asks: who were the mysterious women who inspired the poet — from his first love Katerina, through the unrequited love for the baptised Turkish girl Pesha (Zikhra) in Berkovitsa and two years of happiness with Pelagia in Plovdiv, to his late love for Evgenia Mars, to whom he dedicated his anthology "Lyuleka mi zamirisa" (1919).
