Oh My God

"Oh My God" is a one-man show written by Thea Denolyubova specifically for actor Hristo Mutafchiev, directed with sound design by Stoyan Radev and set design by Elitsa Georgieva. A lone man at a bar table addresses the other patrons — the bar, it turns out, belongs to Judas, and the man claims to be Christ; the piece explores why he makes that claim and what he hopes to achieve. The theatre describes it as "a cry for humanity and love in times when God's word is abused" and used to justify destruction rather than serve as a source of life. The play was nominated for the 2024 IKAR Award for Dramatic Text and the 2024 ASKEER Award for Contemporary Bulgarian Drama.
