Ah, Those Ghosts

"Ah, Those Ghosts" is a comedy by Italian playwright Eduardo de Filippo, staged by Lyubomir Kolaksuzov, in which the line between reality and illusion is "as thin as smoke." Pasquale, poor but noble-hearted, rents an abandoned Neapolitan palace reputed to be haunted, hoping to turn it into a boarding house. When inexplicable things start happening and mysterious "gifts" appear, he chooses to believe in a miracle rather than face the harsh truth — a play about how people sometimes prefer comforting illusions to reality.
