An Attempt at Flying

Everything in this comic-dramatic story begins with the appearance of a wandering balloon, torn loose from the fronts of World War II, which suddenly appears over the Avramovo quarter. The event leads to the formation of four groups of villagers who set off in pursuit — symbolising the Balkans, "a home of flying ideas". Stoyan Radev's production of Yordan Radichkov's play features scenography by Venelin Shurelov, costumes by Elitsa Georgieva and music by Theodosii Spassov; cast includes Georgi Mamalev, Valentin Tanev and others.
