The Last Step

"The Last Step" is a stage adaptation of Yordan Slaveykov's debut novel, winner of the "Silver Pegasus" award for best prose, adapted and directed by the author himself. A scattered family comes together at the threshold between life and death, between reality and delirium, to voice painful secrets, harsh truths and raw memories in search of forgiveness. Having survived their ordeals, the characters take stock of their lives, revisiting their darkest wrongs, loves that never were, and wounds that never healed, in search of hope.
