"The Boy and the Wind"

A solo performance written and performed by Iroslav Petkov, based on the tale "Boy and the Wind" — familiar from the third-grade curriculum and the recommended summer reading lists after second grade. With the audience taking part, the show follows a boy who refuses to accept that chasing the wind is pointless and sets out after it anyway, because attempting the impossible is itself a kind of discovery. The performance encourages children not to have their dreams' wings clipped, and lets them meet the story they know from their books on the theatre stage as well.
