Don't Bet on the English!

Three childhood friends — Paun, Bule, and Piksi — bet on different outcomes of an unpredictable English football match, and as the tension rises minute by minute, the score turns, and so does their friendship. The play, by Serbian author Vladimir Djurdjevic, is written with love for football, friendship, and youth, but also as a statement against enslavement to money, selfishness, and radicalization. It's a loud, daring, and painfully funny Serbian comedy about friendship, addictions, and eternal boys waiting for the winning goal in the final minute instead of changing the game themselves.
